My photographs often desert reality in favour of a spooky pantheon that gives pride to fables.
However, this is not about another tribute to the Brothers Grimm's tales, even if these images take place in the woods.
My approach is influenced by what are called "popular beliefs". These beliefs reflect, in part, our relationship with nature and its influence on us. They create a form of intimacy, desired or endured, with our loved ones.
With my photographs, I try to probe symbols.
As if it was possible to trace the source of a first emotion, long before the writing of fables.
